The Team

Our core care team includes registered children’s nurses, qualified nursery nurses and specialist care workers. They are complemented by a bank of children’s nurses and nursery nurses which enables each family to have respite visits at home during the day, evening or night at times to suit their needs.

We also have a Bereavement Support Worker who provides specific emotional and bereavement support and advice to families.

The level of support requested by each family varies considerably from regular visits to occasional telephone calls for advice. The care team works in partnership with each family to provide a service that is needs led throughout the child or young person’s life as well as after their death.
